CALGARY TOPS NEW YORK FOR NLL CHAMPIONSHIP |
The Calgary Roughnecks capped a stellar season by topping the New York Titans, 12-10, in front of 13,042 fans at Pengrowth Saddledome, to win their second NLL Championship in franchise history. After a tightly contested first half, Calgary scored twice in the final 30 seconds of the second quarter to take a 6-4 halftime lead. Josh Sanderson scored with 30 seconds left, before Kaleb Toth's buzzer-beater from the point-line put the Roughnecks up by two at the break.

TITANS HEADING TO NLL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME |
The New York Titans clinched their first ever East Division National Lacrosse League (NLL) Championship Saturday night with a decisive 9-3 win over the defending 2008 NLL Champion Buffalo Bandits at the Prudential Center. The Titans will take on the Calgary Roughnecks in the Championship Game next Friday, May 15 at 9:30 pm Eastern. Goalie Matt Vinc had an incredible game between the pipes shutting down the usually high scoring Bandits offense making 41 saves on 44 shots on goal.

PLAYOFFS CONTINUE AT THE ROCK |
After Casey Powell's heroics helped the Titans win their first round playoff game in overtime on Saturday at MSG, the New York Titans (11-6) playoff run continues on Saturday, May 9th, when they host the Mark Steenhuis, John Tavares and the Buffalo Bandits (11-6) at Prudential Center at 7:30 PM ET in a rematch of the 2008 East Division Final. With a win on Saturday, the Titans can secure their first NLL Championship Game appearance. Check back shortly for ticket information for Saturday's historic playoff battle.
